If you are reading this, then you've most likely been enjoying bipedalism for years. But you probably started off on all fours, or even balancing precariously on your belly and chest while trying to convince your arms and legs to cooperate with you. These days this is called tummy time, and if you don't know this then you probably don't have a young baby and you probably don't spend most of your free time in the company of babies and friends who have babies, talking about babies and baby related subjects, or talking to friends and relatives who want to know what's new with your baby. This is not just putting your kid on the floor so that you can fix yourself a sandwich using both of your hands. Oh no. This is tummy time.
