Before going to the zoo,

Fede and I chowed at a Salvadorean restaurant just up 99 from Woodland Park Zoo. Where else in Seattle are you going to find a little volcanic pumice bowl full of salsa, cactus, chorizo, carne asada, avocados, jalapenos and homemade cheese? At Taco Time? I don't think so. They also had some delicious pupusas and pastelitas; handmade corn tortillas with various fillings and fried stuffed corn fritters respectively. The fresh drink that Fede is hoisting was made from mango, pineapple, apple and marañón. It was muy, muy rico. Mi Chalateca at 9710 Aurora Av N Seattle WA 98103
