Half-forgotten memory cards

One of the peculiar things about memory cards is that they are constantly getting cheaper and their storage capacity is always going up. Yesterday's shiny new 256MB compact flash isn't so sexy beside a new 4GB card purchased at half the price, and so it gradually works its way to the back of the camera bag; like a half forgotten tomato in the musty hinterlands of a refrigerator drawer. Except in this case, rather than being brown, fuzzy mound of tomato-gone-wrong that requires a spatula and 409 to clean up - you find some forgotten pictures from a wonderful and pivotal life period. These were taken in late 2007 on a very fast train in Japan, although in the first two pictures it doesn't look like we're going all that fast.

Sofia Jumps

The Sofias take their moms out for the day

A good boss knows that workers need a break every so often to keep morale up and productivity high. The Sofias gave their workers a spirit boosting field-trip to the park and a coffee shop (I'm not sure which), and in return they asked only to be pushed around in their rolling chair/beds.

A New Trick

Sofia has learned to grab her feet and pull them to her mouth for analysis. The verdict? A little difficult but worth it. In the end though, the big toe will not replace the thumb as the digit of choice anytime soon.
